“Maya is a shy child, and we hoped that riding and spending time with horses would be beneficial for her; then a sense of achievement in learning to ride, the responsibility of looking after the horses, making new friends and generally we hoped that spending time with horses would be calming and a happy experience for her. We booked an introductory session with Mills for both girls, she was brilliant with them, the smiles were the biggest smiles you’d ever see, so we knew we had to book Maya in for lessons, but we couldn’t exclude Cora, so we enrolled them both!
Both girls did a 3-day camp in October and had a great time, their riding skills improved, they became more confident around the ponies (before they were a little afraid), and also started to bond with them, which was lovely. The email preparation for the camp was really good too.
As a general point the staff (including the helpers) are great. Clemmie (who often helps during the group lessons) is a trooper!”
