Behind Every Great Horse Rider is a Great Team
Our team ensures Lavant Equestrian is a safe, well-run, and inviting place for all riders. We are often complimented on our friendly and professional approach, a reputation we work hard to maintain. Excellence, approachability and a supportive atmosphere guide everything we do. It’s this shared pride in doing things properly in every detail, every day that sets Lavant Equestrian apart.
Our coaches are highly qualified, experienced professionals and bring a wealth of expertise across a wide range of disciplines, including having competed in high-level competition with great success in British Eventing, British Showjumping and British Dressage.
Many began their riding journeys at Lavant Equestrian, either as children or apprentices, earning their British Horse Society qualifications before returning to join our coaching team. They teach with patience, positivity and precision. Their focus is always on safety, steady progress and building confidence for both horse and rider.
With this expertise, empathy and dedication, there is truly a coach for every rider at Lavant Equestrian.
Supporting the lessons behind the scenes is our dedicated yard team, who ensure every horse is prepared and cared for before and after every ride. They also ensure our facilities remain safe, organised and beautifully maintained.
Our Yard Manager has over 15 years’ experience and is fully qualified, ensuring that every horse is looked after to the highest standard. Supporting them, we are fortunate to have the owners’ Veterinary Surgeon of 32 years, Pauline Williams MRCVS, overseeing our fortnightly veterinary clinics for all clinical care, along with an expert physiotherapist and master saddler, plus two skilled farriers attending every week.
And keeping everything running smoothly, our admin team manages bookings, communications, and the daily operations that make the Lavant Equestrian function seamlessly.
With such a knowledgeable and attentive team, our horses and riders are in expert hands and receive the care and attention they need to thrive.
