About Ivy
Ivy is a truly stunning black mare who joined our team with a rather unique story! Unlike many of our school ponies, she came to us at nine years old as a seasoned and confident hacker, having spent her life exploring the countryside. At the time, she had never even set foot in an arena or jumped anything more than a log out on the trails!
Since arriving at Lavant, Ivy has taken to her new life with grace. Watching her transition from a pure hacker to a versatile school horse has been a joy, and she brings that calm, ‘seen-it-all’ confidence from the open road into her lessons. She is the boss of her herd and will do anything for a snack!
