The competitors arrived early to start washing all the mud of their ponies as it had been very wet the day before. Everyone took extra care with the turnout of their ponies and themselves as there was a chance to earn the Turnout of Pony & Rider achievement badge.
Jackie Mac made sure everyone was up to scratch and got their badge.
The competition took place after lunch, with Liz judging, Jackie writing her comments down and Polly calling out directions for the riders. It was great to see some new faces trying the dressage competition for the first time. Some of the classes were extremely close and all the competitors did themselves proud.
Rosettes and achievement badges were handed out at the end of the day along with three special Gold Achievement Badges to Dylan King, Emily Pattison and Laura Pattison for earning over 21 of the ordinary badges.
