This activity has been moved from February half-term.

Dress up as a Prince or Princess and transform your pony into a unicorn for the day! Also enjoy a magical woodland walk on horseback, a treasure hunt and handy pony games! Discover how to plait and groom your unicorn to the highest standard like royalty.

Our Pony Owning Day’s suit children from L1-6 up to the age of 12 years old, non members are also welcome. They’re educational as well as great fun with two sessions of riding and jam-packed theory/hands on sessions too. They are a fantastic way to improve children’s horse knowledge, discover how to care for them, tack them up and look after them for the day. From 10am – 4pm with an hour for lunch, ensure to bring something yummy to eat, clothes to keep you warm and maybe a carrot for your pony!

There will, of course, be some changes from previous years – to ensure that all riders are as safe as possible. Our Health and Safety elves have been working hard to ensure your child’s day will be Covid-safe this year.

Please NOTE that if we need to cancel due to Covid restrictions then this activity will be transferred to a future activity of equal value.
