Description
For children and teenagers of all levels, come and learn what it takes to look after your own horse or pony. Discover what they eat, how to keep them looking smart, how to gain their trust and build that special bond. Choose which pony you would like and also ride them twice!
Our Pony Owning Day’s suit children from L1-6 and non members are also welcome. They’re educational as well as great fun with two sessions of riding and jam-packed theory/hands on sessions too. They are a fantastic way to improve children’s horse knowledge, discover how to care for them, tack them up and look after them for the day. From 10am – 4pm with an hour for lunch, ensure to bring something yummy to eat, clothes to keep you warm and maybe a carrot for your pony!
